Challenge #300 - Up, Up and Away!

Well, it's Wednesday again, but not just any Wednesday.  It's the 300th challenge for the LRW Girlfriends!  I feel like a band should be playing, confetti should be coming down and balloons should be going up...which is the perfect entre to this weeks challenge.  We want to see  things that fly, like balloons, airplanes, rockets...even birds would qualify.

Here's my card:

The Girlfriends have plenty of inspiration for you this week, check their blogs for the details.  Congrats to all the Girlfriends present and alumni and all of you for getting to #300.  We can't wait to see your creations, link 'em on up!

Challenge # 299 - Thickers and Stickers!

Happy Wednesday, all!  This week we've got an interesting challenge for you.  We want to see your projects that include Thickers and/or stickers!

That's right, one or the other.  Both is great too!  And, you don't need to use actual brand name Thickers.  Any Thickers-type letters/numbers will do.  Also, the stickers don't have to be alpha stickers.  As long as they are an actual sticker that's a-okay.  (But, if your sticker isn't obvious, please do tell us what it is in your post.)

This is what I did....

As you can see, I've used both Thickers and (alpha) stickers on mine.

If you'd like more inspiration be sure to check out the wonderful projects the Girlfriends have created. Then, head back here and link up.

Can't wait to see what you create!

Challenge #298 - Beach Theme

Happy Wednesday to everyone!  It is time for another fun and easy challenge at Little Red Wagon and since we are in the middle of summer here in Canada, I thought it would be appropriate to have a beach-themed challenge.  Make any card for any occasion as long as it is beach related.

Here is my inspiration card for you.

I personally adore the beach and I love cute little beach houses, so when I saw this cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables I couldn't resist!

Now it is your turn!  Pull up a beach chair, grab your wagon full of goodies and start crafting! Then link up your creation below and we will be sure to visit your blog.  Remember to stop back next Tuesday, July 21st, to see if your card has been featured :)

Challenge #297 ~ Birthday Theme

Good Morning!  It's Heather here and I am the hostess for this week's challenge.  I have a super simple one for you ~ a card with a birthday theme.  We always need birthday cards in our stash so any kind of birthday card will do ~ kids, adults, funny, special ~ you get the picture.

I tried a new technique called the masking tape technique and used my mini distress inks by Tim Holtz for this easy birthday card.  I can see lots of these with different themes and colours in my future for my stash.

Check out all the inspiration from the other girlfriends and come back to link up your birthday card this week. I can't wait to visit and see what you all create.

Hugs, Heather
